Mission

Our mission at OT Kids is to empower children and families by providing compassionate, collaborative, fun, client-centered occupational therapy services that promote the development of essential skills for daily living. We are dedicated to helping children overcome challenges in areas such as motor development, sensory processing, social skills, and self-care, with the goal of enhancing their independence, confidence, and overall well-being. Through collaboration with families, schools, and healthcare teams, we strive to create individualized, evidence-based interventions that foster meaningful participation in home, school, and community activities.

Values

OT Kids strives to deliver services that align with our values

  • Kindness: We strive to deliver our services with kindness by recognising the needs and feelings of others and responding with compassion, friendliness, understanding, and a willingness to help.
  • Collaboration: We endeavour to work together towards a common goal, with shared ideas, mutual respect and open communication.
  • Integrity: We will act honestly, respectfully and ethically to gain trust from clients, families and the community.
  • Creativity: Therapy and strategies to support a child’s learning and development will be imaginative, innovative and flexible.
  • Fun: Ultimately, we value therapeutic support that brings joy, excitement and delight for children. We believe fun is the basis for developing therapeutic relationships and achieving goals.`
